An American dream, realized
Sabine, a Haitian born Brooklynite, always longed for her own home. As a hardworking mother of two, the American dream of homeownership always seemed to be just that, a dream. Growing tired of her one bedroom apartment and meek savings, she knew she wanted to have a place to call her own, she just didn’t know how to make it happen. That’s until she met Senior Loan Officer, Darrin English, and the Quontic team. Darrin, empathetic and understanding of her unique situation, helped her secure a $20,000 grant for first time homebuyers through a local non-profit and she jumped at the opportunity.
When it came to the financing process, Sabine credits the responsiveness of the Quontic team as her saving grace. “They’ve made me feel like I’ve known them for 20 years. They don’t want you to stress out about the process and are there for you every step of the way.”
Now that she’s comfortable in her Brooklyn home, Sabine reflects back on her journey with warm regards. “I became so close with them during this process, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose the Quontic team, time and time again.”
